After all these years I have finally decided to take the plunge and learn how to knit! It’s so exciting because I have all these awesome afghans and pillows I would like to make, I can imagine all these amazing one off pieces for decorating homes.

I bought a great book called “Become a Knitting Superstar” after the awesome review I read about it! so good!
Unique round knitted footstools give this recycled chic living room and even more awesome vibe! If you know who to knit or crochet you could give something like this a whirl, alternatively you could re purpose old knitted blankets, in fact I have seen many blankets like this for almost nothing in thrift stores.
Great retro colors, combine with odd pieces of furniture, preferably some velvet and floral fabrics thrown into the mix and a few sculpted modern lines and abracadabra, a hipsters paradise is created!
