This is the stunning living room of Erin Featherston in New York. It can be described as a modern french style with a touch of whimsy. I am totally in love with this place, when can I move in? lol
I love the pastel natural colour scheme in the pastel blue and beige, the amazing French pieces and the high ceilings and tall windows.
Here we take a look at the Veronica Etro family home in the island of Ibiza. This is a wonderful old Spanish style home with gorgeous period pieces from the 17th Century Spain. White walls, exposed beams in a dark brown, highly ornate chairs, mirrors and light fittings.
Designer Veronica Etro in the entryway to her family’s 17th-century home in Ibiza. The foyer features an 18th-century Venetian mirror.
A giant archway is original to the structure and is flanked by a sixth-century Indian bust from Gandhara.
The den with the ocean blue couches and rustic rust colored cushions.
The bedroom has a 19th-century Lombard bed.
Precious antiques, like a 17th-century Spanish chair, decorate the house.
A magnificent 17th-century Florentine religious shrine.
I just came across this amazing designer Decor Demon. I am in love with the aesthetic produced by Decor Demon, I see lots of modern shapes in shades of white, grays and blacks and then the most violent splashes of bright red. It is just so gorgeous! Modern and contemporary at its best.
This is the beautiful other wordly home of designer Johanne Riis. A perfect blend of zen white with splashes of bright red inspired by Japanese Zen with simple lines and spaces filled with light.
Now this one is going to be image heavy so bare with me, it is totally worth it!
A great work of art this exquisite painting by artist Paul Trajman.
The contrast between the stark white of the walls and this bright blood red painting is mesmerizing.
The modern kitchen with the best high end appliances.
The ever present white, in the chairs, orchids, floors, walls and table.
White stained timber floors and the presence of orchids.
The white washed dining room.
Stunning high ceilings.
Beautiful big windows drench the room in light.
A white grand piano in the lounge room.
The master bedroom in the attic space. Painted a pure white making the few bold pieces of art in other colors stand out.
The elements of surprise are never ending, every time I go through these pictures I find something new!
Now I’m talking about yellow, yellow as the main inspiration behind everything. Could you possibly ever feel even a hint of depression in a house made up exclusively of yellow sunshine inspiration. Why don’t you be the judge! Could you live in a house like this? Do you love it or is it a tad too much?
It is definitely inspired by …mellow (or not so mellow) yellow!

I am Pandora. A lover of interior design, decorating, homes, gardens and all things stylish!
I have been studying interior design as a side project for a few years on and off and decided to make this blog where I jot down my ideas and inspirations in the hopes that they will help or inspire others.
I am particularly in love with devising new color schemes an will try to add some of that here too.
This home and decorating site is a work in progress for me so come back often to see new ideas!
