Two Zebra Print Bedrooms

Zebra print can be added to the bedroom for an edgy touch in many different ways, here we have two gorgeous bedroom ideas incorporating this print.

The bed in interior designer Jamie Drake’s taxicab-yellow Manhattan bedroom is upholstered in a Clarence House zebra-print silk; lacquer bedside tables, custom-made bed linens by E. Braun & Co., and a pair of Gene Davis silkscreens showcase Drake’s flair for drama. Photographer: William Waldron and Designer: Jamie Drake for elledecor.com

Mellow Yellow

Now I’m talking about yellow, yellow as the main inspiration behind everything. Could you possibly ever feel even a hint of depression in a house made up exclusively of yellow sunshine inspiration. Why don’t you be the judge! Could you live in a house like this? Do you love it or is it a tad too much?

It is definitely inspired by …mellow (or not so mellow) yellow!

Lemons in a Bowl

I recently went to a bridal shower where I saw this cute and quirky decorative idea that just blew me away, it’s pretty simple: Lemons in a Bowl! Really it’s a lemon centrepiece, so easy to do and so stunning to look at!

The first awesomely pretty example comes from Sitting in a Tree.

Next we have lemon filled vases with yellow flowers, so gorgeous. In this version cut up lemons floating in water.

You get the idea! and you can substitute the lemons for limes, oranges or any citrus really or even create a combination – there are no limits to what gorgeousness you can come up with!
