Original beach home with loads of character. The thing that won me over is the overall shabby, rustic, cluttered decadence of this space. The use of that greenish turquoise with red on the corroded walls, rugs and furniture ties the room together while adding brightness to the home.
An Eclectic Home
Incatrole, a beautiful house situated in the Byron Hinterland in NSW Australia owned and hand built by artist Ken Johnson.
This exotic oasis truly is a work of art. Drawing mainly from the artists’s love of India and his partners heritage the home features many Rajistani details including 1000 year old sandalwood columns which frame the large central living space and the heart of this magnificent home. Other Haveli features include 500 year old doors, hand made basins and blue & white decorative tile detailing found around the fireplace and in the kitchen.
